i'm assuming they're fake corpses (good lord please let them be fake corpses) and wondering, upon this assumption why anyone would make such realistic looking corpses. were they specially made for the 'publication' or are there multiple uses for fake corpses that require the manufacturers to mass produce them?

yeah they do. the guy who makes em also makes em for movies, music videos, and the like. i read a bit about the site, including the interview with the owner of the magazine. its really pretty funny. i'd buy a hat, but i wouldnt subscribe to the magazine.
