Woke up at like half 5. Seriously didn't expect to sleep that much. Serious night. The more I think about kode9s set the more I hope to god there was a recording. There were tunes I recognised but just couldn't put names to at the time. Now they are just a distant memory is feels to be honest. Missed the burial because my mates couldn't hack the heat at the front.

Venue was big. Proper underground feel. I mean there was like absolutely nothing in the place and the setup was built on standard scaffolding. Another one of those nights where the artists were there for each other as well. Only hatcha had other commitments elsewhere? Loefah was about too but literally spent all night in the smoking area with his bird? Haha. Think he pulled up one of onemans tracks as well just to get involved.

Was Coki there as well? My mate walked in with Artwork after he went for some cash. They full on frisk searched him haha.

Can't stress enough tho about those jobsworth prick bouncers. They just looked so angry all night. That black guy with the tied up dreads. Was like some sort of villain in the some movie.

Huge shouts to pokes he absolutely smashed it (both lyrically and alcohol wise) he was constantly at the bar. Was good to have a bit of a chat with toast as well. Noticed Yunx just grafting on pure bitches after his set hahahaha

Nah fuck that guy and the bouncers in general. To begin with the guy on the door hand his hands in my front jeans pockets.. Are they even allowed to do that? They just walked around with faces like slapped arses the whole night trying to catch people out either sniffing or toking. I know thats there job and I said to the lads I went with they will probably chill out come about 1 or 2 when everyones in and mashing up the dance. But I seen one of them at about 6am throw someone out. I dunno what for but they were proper roughing him up. Whats the point? The guy would of been leaving in an hour anyway.

Meh I might be a bit petty for having a go at them for doing their job I just guess if I was a bouncer doing that night i'd be a bit less focused on trying to catch people doing drugs at 4am and instead be a bit more focused on a bit of music. People said the workers on the bar were having a good time which is good to see but one thing i thought that was daft in there was the fact they were serving beers in glass bottles to everyone. I dont think ive seen that in years.

Yeh thats the thing with the big nights that I like. The artists seem to realise that this is one of those 'big nights' and make it their only booking and stay and make a night of it. Didnt really see anyone after Hatcha's set tho who still to play apart from Loefah

What an amazing night. Didin't think there was a weak set in there. Youngsta's set was the best for me. Played so many tunes that I have never heard out but had always wanted to - Goat stare . Kode 9 was ridiculous as well.
Gutted I missed n-type but had to go get the coach back to leeds.

Really hope there is a recording of this but there probably wont be
