Hey mate,

I really like your first tune (wip 1), really chilled and a rather uplifting vibe. However, I would personally make the snare a bit more upfront and prominent in the mix. Nice work.

Re your collab, I think you need to use those nice wobbles a bit more throughout the tune. Also, not sure if it's just me, but the hit hats are a little ear piercing or fatiguing, as a general rule (depending on samples and mix etc), EQ my hi hats and roll off at about 5k-10k depending.

Cheers,

Sam

@Ezzcal I like it, nice melody with the bass!
@Lowphat turn that bass up!! for more body, I can hear the sound of it, but it can be louder in terms of power unless im not listening to it on the right speakers, ill listen to it on the right speakers and give you more feedback.
@Jetpack Nice it has a very spacey feel to it!
@I am cook uh oh haha gnarly
@swaggr Dude I like, one of the basses though sounds reallllly grainy like overly grainy idk if you purposely did that or if you want the whole thing to sound smooth, it just sounds like its scratchy almost but if thats what your going for my bad dont mean to point out something that theres nothing wrong with in the first place
@Burgeamon Heavy drop man!
@Standby Very cool percussion very detailed

Ahhh sorry kidstrange forgot i was on page 120 ahhaha sorry mate heres some feedback, I like it man its supppper fucking chill hahaha Really nice puts me in a nice place :D

Well Its pretty much done, I was gonna go back and change some stuff but I am quite satisfied with it :D

Gday mate,

I'm currently at work, so I don't have the best headphones to have a listen. Also wasn't to sure which track you wanted feedback on, but I gave them both a listen.

On triptick, this track goes hard mate, realllly feeling this one, the bass goes deep and slow, and from what I can tell, really well produced also. top stuff mate.

Same goes for freezer aswell, but the clap doesn't do it for me, I would have a go at layering a snare under it perhaps. great work tho.

Cheers,

Sam

Hey mate,

Cheers for the feedback. I have had a few problems with the sub bass, originally it was way to loud, so I've turned it down a few db and I believe it's currently sitting alot better (not the best, can always be better) in the mix, according to 2 different pairs of headphones, and a 2.1 hifi setup (no monitors for me :( ). May I ask, just for reference what you listened on? Also would be great to get your feedback on the different speakers.

On your tune, it is a bit fast for my personal liking, but definately well produced. On another note, what ever happened to your protector monster tune? That was a beast!

Cheers,

Sam

@Hero I like that really deep sounds in it
@E-T-F I love that dub track so mellow
I would put a compressor on the kick and turn it down to around like for example -2db, and your bass to -3.2 or something like that just so they are controlled in their output of decibels so the decibels dont get all jumbled up n stuff and also try using something to bring out your mids, a little bit of lows, and a little high. I listened to it on my bose speaker, its literally one solid unit with a subwoofer or a couple and you can hear the bass but its still not powerful enough to even be close to hearing it, rather you feel it. My cars subwoofer works wonders hahaha, its definitely not like a great monitor system n stuff but it works.. haha im reworking that protector monster, it had major clipping issues its a super easy fix but i made it hard by using massive on another computer and not saving the bass X(

@Jetpack : your drums sound good, the sampler comes a bit suddenly but the bass is sweet.
Yeah, I just threw it in there. Just wanted to see the vibe and take it from there.
Im just re posting my songs i gave 6 feedbacks and received one. ill return feedback for feedback thank you.
Digging the vibe. A vocalist/lyricist could get on this in a heartbeat. Great stuff. Sounds killer.
@jetpack love every part of this, sick drums, chill basslines good job man
Thanks. Your WIP is SICK! Pads/Pad melody is my favorite by far. Sounds so dark. Wobbles are killer. Downloading.

Feedback for feedback!
115 BPM, flowing bassline
Will finish arrangement after feedback on vibe of song.

@lowphat thanks man appreciate it. agree with the snare now that i hear it. as for the colab...i noticed this today i thought it was just my headphones, but playing through my speakers its there aswell..not sure how they got like that..but good ear. thanks man! as for your tune- very old school feel to it..like the pause at 1:20...that "wowra" sound fits it just right. i feel the snare is a little to snappy id go for a more wider wood sound..but thats just me. one section in the song needs a little change up...over all great work man.

@E-T-F Deep bass really nice. excellent drop. it needs some pad to fill in the empty space. (Freezer) not feeling the clap really.. again very deep. also again needs a pad for some atmosphere.

@wizardd - Intro is amazing, drop is amazing, everything sits great in the track, wobbles sound fat, great job :P

@Mannyyyyy - Amazing Neurofunk bass man, nothing I can really say bad about the track, it's spot on

@Ezzcal - Great atmosphere, very chilled track, and your melody is killer, really catchy! The wobbles could be abit bigger though

Here's a track I've been working on.. Something like brostep meets Mord Fustang? Heh heh I've been having alot of fun messing around with the crazy bass noises, tell me what you think :P

@Standby - Cymophobia: This is gorgeous. So rich, so beautiful. Great percussion. Excellent subtly on the wobblybit at about 2min. My only recommendations are that you get some more melodic elements in there, chimes, bells, something. It's has a little too much space in it, but it is a fantastic tune. Great collab guys, excellent work :)

@kidstrange - wip1: I like the bells. The tape hiss thing is annoying and artificial imho. LOVE that kick, so smooth. Ugh. It's sex. Gorgeous pads. You should bring out the bells more and the other ambience, the angelic pads drown it out a bit. .....taaaaaappppeeee hiiiiisssssss.. do not want. Beautiful song though. A++ Will listen again.

@wizardd - Extinctors Drone: The high machine sound in the beginning is drowned out. Nice tempo change! Goddamn it man, put out a fucking album so I can throw my money at you!! Brb freaking out to this sick ass tune. :5: I enjoy a little more highend harmonics on my basses, and I think yours could benefit greatly from a little more top end on the basses, but I can't think of anything else to make this better. Btw, I would be absolutely giddy like a schoolgirl bitch if we could collab, just sayin. I fucking love your shit, keep it up!

@Hero - Little Green Men: I don't know what the fuck that yoi-wobble is, but DAMN shit is fine. Solid track, great work.

Here's the full version of a clip I posted a few pages back. EQ'ed, mixed better, finished up mainly, but I still think it could use something, or at least some feedback on how to clean it up more. What do you guys think?

this is a WIP that has sat on my HD for a while now, I can't seem to get any further with it.
I have tried adding some bass at varying speeds through the main bassline, and was thinking maybe it needs some sort of high pitched altering noises to break up to bass a bit more, but still haven't found or made the sound/s I'm after.

Not ready to give up on it yet

Soundcloud

Going to have another crack at finishing it tonight, any feedback is much appreciated

@influx not really my style but its very good! you should fattn up that main lead. then towards the end just make that lead go insane. have 2 synths one an oct higher ... not really feeling that snare. rverb little layer over all fatter sounding. oh and needs more bassss.

@Ematyael Thanks man much appreciated! i did some tweaking earlier today. which is pretty much what you said. as far as the "hisssing" i do have pretty cicadas that i did a field recording of. or do you mean the hissing from the pianos delay makes which was rather horrid. i took care of that. i enjoy my cicadas...but they need to be more subtle. ..as for your tune. (the voice) really like the whole idea really great synths the "yi" sounds great amazing use of it imo. my only problem with it is its a bit to loud. i somewhat find it hard to hear the drums...id suggest getting that all leveled out other than that no complaints.

@Evader
I really can get into this tune. Clean up the mids and I'll download. Good stuff

@Ematyael
Sick wobbles. I really like the switchup at 1:56.

New something I started on today. We'll see where it goes.

thanks for the feedback :4:
I'll clean the mids up and put a few extra bits here and there to change it up a little more.
I edited my last post with a fresh mix where I started to work on the mids, and taking a bit of the lows down.
The melody needed some of the harshness taken out of the high end as well.

I like the second drop much more than the first. It almost sounds as if you could make 2 tracks out of that. The second drop is dope though I like it.
