Probably best to bring a couple along or a large hanky. Just in case they haven't managed to solve the dust issue.
We're taking loads so don't worry about bringing your own, come see us in the clearing or we will probably be handing them out at a few stages.
Tbh the dust didn't affect me much last year. I was just boggled by the sight of everyone wearing something on their faces after I got off the Deep Medi Boat, I thought someone had got some meme going.
I can nick dust masks from work

Yeah, I got my shifts. I'm a fort steward! Perhaps I'll be able to sneak off and watch a few artists while working.

I got my shifts, too. Stage Management Assistant, so I don't even need to sneak off to catch some sets

badger wrote:yeah i was surprised. the cheapest i found elsewhere was £240 or so but thanks to LEQ and his bargain hunting skills i got cheap flights with alitalia
it's pretty unsociable hours though - leaving heathrow at 6am (to trieste via rome), and then back from trieste at 6:50 on the 5th so will have to miss a bit of the end of outlook probably
Sounds like we'll be on the same flight mate!
Leaving on the 31st?
I get back on the 7th though.

I think you do get a final cigarette though.

My english teacher gave me a weird look when I mentioned that as the musical instrument I played. Like the wtf stare. I had to give her the 'wiki wiki' dj motion to confirm what i meant.

Yeah same price as the ticket, just in case you get the wristband and don't turn up to your shifts, but i wanna know if they will like search for you and fuck you up as well as not giving your money back if you don't turn up.

fairly sure Outlook is run by a small group of music lovers, not the Russian Mafia
I reckon either just definitely turn up & don't leave them short staffed, or quit now and buy yourself one of the many less than face value tickets knocking about...

They're a fairly laid back bunch of people, they won't be out to screw you over. They just want to run a good party. Just let them know in advance once you find out you've fucked up your travel.
