Champagne & Limousines - Bounce (Drumstep)

Post by almostskate100 » Wed Aug 24, 2011 1:41 am

Hey guys,

First track that I've posted on here. This is an unmastered and probably not extremely well mixed track. But I'm still pretty proud of it. Any feedback or suggestions in terms of sound design, mixing, eq'ing, samples used, etc. would be VERY helpful :W:

Tried to go for a sorta hip-hop vibe, yet still keep it original and fresh. Enjoy!

Sounds thin, but not bad. Maybe more bass.

It sounds a lot more bassy when I play it on my monitors, but on other systems, not really...so I see what you mean. Do you know why my monitors might be giving me inaccurate levels on things like this?

I'd say bring the sub down a bit and everything else should level itself out. Hip-hoppy for sure. Maybe work on some transitions to introduce each new section. Sounds a-ok otherwise man.

Thanks for the input! Really appreciate it. I'll work on the transitions for sure
