i am, fucking terrified of the bastards. just found a huge fucker in my bedroom and had to wake my housemate up to come and get rid of it! bless him, he was really good about it though. to be fair he's not scared of them at all but said it was a particularly nasty specimen.

didn't kill it though, just chucked it out the window!

I really am afraid of them though, except when they're pets, and I'm not afraid of tarantulas.
Spiders with long legs, creepy looking, obviously deadly looking ones creeeeeep me the fuck out. I have to spray them with household chemicals so that I don't risk the chance of missing them with a shoe or something and having them in such close proximity to my hand...

Nah, when I was a kid I almost started to become scared of them just out of reaction to how my mum and brother were around them but I'd force myself to pick any large ones up around the house.

Now I like them

Except if I was in Australia or somewhere else known for biting spiders I'd probably want to stay the fuck away from them.

i witnessed a spider fight on my garden fence the other day whilst smoking

it was cool

used to be fearless around spiders, pick em up all the time when i was a kid

now i admit, i get freaked out by em

waking up with one the size of my face next to... my face... when i was in Laos was especially creepy, it was fucking fast too, like, really fucking fast

also same time in Laos, nice little bar off the river, go into the toilet (shack/shed) no light, GIANT red fat bodied evil lookin spider pon di wall

told the dude who owned the bar, he laughed and sent his 4 year old in to get rid of it
