Re: BITCHES!!! - String Song (Will return feedback)
Love the strings. Your production is fairly solid, alot of your lead synths sound like they're at different levels and don't really gel together. If you haven't yet, send all your leads bassline sounds to a bus, use compression, and EQ to help gel them all together. LOVE the different variations and textures on your synths though, big ups!
Also, drums could have a bit more smack. Have you ever heard of parallel bus compression? Makes drums sound huge when done properly. Also boost that snare around 200hz by a good 4-6db with a Q around 4 or 5 so its super tight within the spectrum.
Not sure of your ability to talk tech so I hope this made sense.
Keep at it boyo, you've got mad talent

Thanks for your feedback
I had a listen to your bittersweet symphony remix and would really like a copy. I'm a resident for the UKs biggest indie night and I tend to mix it up more than the other residents so stuff like that would fit really well into my sets!
As for what you say, it mostly makes sense.
I've set up parralell compression (I have a bunch of sends compressing different bands) so I probably just need to send more of the drums to the various channels. The snare def needs some more snap and punch to it so that EQ boost should help.
With the basses I'm also sending them to some of these compression sends but I'm pretty sure they're gonna be at different levels (slightly). What I may do is also set up another send where I send the audio from the basses to and compress them together as at the moment each bass is sending a signal without compression to the master as well as sending an amount to these compression sends (I'm using the idea from mr bills tutorials).
I think as I've added more stuff I haven't quite tweaked the drums and basses with all the new stuff going on.
Thanks for your notes though
that's exactly the stuff i want to be focusing on now
