I'm sorry if this has been covered before but, How do you set an envelope to modulate LFO speed? I know it can be done I've seen it in the example tracks just don't know how to do it. P.S. I am a totally new to all of this so as detailed as possible would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Move thE knob that you want to modulate , then go uP to tools in the toolbar < last tweaked parameter< create automation clip or edit events

Hey guys i'm a beginner so bear with me -.-,
Is it possible to bind a single beat to a key? Like 1 key is kick, 1 is snare, one is clap?
Also how do I use the microkorg sounds in FL studio and how do I record sounds onto it?
I'm using a usb to midi.
Thanks

Use the FPC. Load the sample you want on the pads then select the note you want them to be attached to on your keyboard (C4, D4, etc).
You have to have the audio out of the MicroKorg hooked up to your PC to get sound into FL.

I got the FPC, thanks : ),
but as for the audio out, i'm using a laptop so would I need a external sound card or a audio interface?

Preferably, yes. It's possible to use a 1/4in-1/8in adapter and plug it into your Mic In but the quality will suffer.

yes an interface will be needed to get the microkorg sounds into FL, as stated above, use the FPC for the drum question.
An interface is a good investment though cause youll need one for monitors and a mic if you want one in the future.

An M-Audio FastTrack would probably be your best bet. It'll run you a little over $100, has one XLR input and one 1/4in input. It's nothin' to brag about but it gets the job done. I use one and haven't had any issues recording from a mic, recording guitar and bass, and recording a MicroKorg for the brief period I owned one.

what stops playing? the whole song or the automation stops working? if its the latter sometimes when you tweak automation while you are playing you have to restart the song for changes to work.
