bland house is also boring these days as well...

it's all in how you use stuff,,, an hour of any one sound is boring as fuck these days. i miss the days of dubstep allstars 3 when a set encompassed so many different styles and influences. now days everyone is hiding in their little corners of sounds...

Think some of you guys need to not take the name so literally, although it does unfortunately seem that some are using 'dungeon' as an actual sub genre label. When the dungeon thread was made it was given that name because it's what Toast would refer to the sound as sometimes, so when people who listen to Yunx's shows read 'dungeon sound' they knew what sort of tunes were gonna be in there. I was one of them and didn't think 'ooh goody, finally this sound's been christened with a sub genre so I can pidgeonhole it nicely', I just knew it'd be a thread for the darker, sub driven, minimal side of dubstep.

If it's boring why bother subjecting yourself to it and reading/destroying threads about it? Or is this your little quest in life? What a waste of time...

No one likes it? Do you really think art should exist for others to enjoy? Is this how you value music? This comment implies that if everyone liked it then you would too - which shows little or no inner character or self esteem. I suggest you get a job and forget about music, you clearly have a problem with it.

I shan't be back to read any replies - I guess this is what people like you live for... shameful

i never even thought "dungeon" was being used as a sub genre, i thought it was just something toast used to say on the mic. a lot of that kryptic minds/dj madd stuff is becoming pretty stale though, i don't listen to youngsta's sets much anymore and haven't bought many of the releases because i haven't been interested enough in it.

tbh, i don't even know what new music coming out i like, i don't like any of that juke 808 stuff or sparkly sounding garage 2-step shit, some of the new grime stuff just sounds like rip offs of old instrumentals as well, i feel kind of out of touch with recent music, haven't been keeping up to date, been wondering on what releases to buy :?

maybe you should accept that you dont like the music anymore and go and buy some celtic-techno-folk-core for a truly original listening experience
