Whazzat? You want sucky snares?

Nah, but its pretty simple, really, and theres many ways to do it.
1. Duplicate the snare
2. Reverse the copied snare
3. Place it before the normal snare
4. Turn the gain down on it and make sure it leads into the snare hit
5. Highpass if you want.
...in my opinion

Only I'm having trouble perfecting it, most cymbal samples seem too long, if you have the snare on 3 is the reverse placed on the start of the bar?

Example;

Best way is to reverb your snare, and reverse it on another channel, lower the volume by a few dbs, and also filter out some of the high-end (so that when the snare hits those high-end frequencies really cut through)

That track was so sexy :U:
Anyway it sounded like automated white noise to me!
The thing that's making it sound bigger is that synth they layered with it!

i'd have to listen again but i think the kick is triggering the sidechain compression mainly

Reverse reverb (I think I use this technique way way way too much) works alright.

Layered some white noise on this snare, then did the reverb thing.
