The only thing I'm jealous of is pro-tools for the TC powercore stuff and the soft Access Virus.

I wonder when Ohmforce will release their multiplayer daw?
Re: My DAW is better than yours! (Friendly DAW Wars debate)
Logic for it's effects, Ableton for it's ease of use imo.
I would switch completely over to Logic, but it's interface doesn't sit well with me.

Trust me, i was on Ableton for 2 years, sooner or later you'll get sick of hearing awesomely polished tracks and thinking, 'why can't I do that' and make the switch.Sine69 wrote:Logic for it's effects, Ableton for it's ease of use imo.

That's what happened to me anyway.

Two of my friends have corrected me when we're working on a beat.
'No Pete, it's not fruity loops. It's FL Studio.'
Never fails to make me giggle.

I make music as Forsaken, you can DL all my unreleased (and a couple released) bits here.

He's saying it took him two years to learn to mix properly, and during that period he held his tools accountable for his own shortcomings...RandoRando wrote:i dont understand.gen_ wrote:Trust me, i was on Ableton for 2 years, sooner or later you'll get sick of hearing awesomely polished tracks and thinking, 'why can't I do that' and make the switch.Sine69 wrote:Logic for it's effects, Ableton for it's ease of use imo.

Of course, had he started with Reaper none of this would have been a problem... The ability to turn out great mixes would have come naturally to him from the very first hour.

At futuresuntold- i cant get along with reaper, mainly due to its 'laggy' chanel db metering, its not smooth enough for me. Also had a ballache setting up multi outs with battery/kontakt, logic does this with a single click of a button. In reaper you need to set up the io pages for everything, set the midi input, set it to armed blah blah blah.
Logic is an f1 car, reaper is a gt Car

Depone - save a template once you`ve done it once.
the channel db metering can also be solved
anyway, Reaper for the win.
