It's such a big track! A lot of my friends hate it though? hahaexfox wrote:Tune is too much. Gaslamp Killer dropped it when I saw him and it was fire
Re: Hudson Mohawke - Cbat
Well it's very "abstract" in a sense, I mean it's really minimal with no real hooks. Quite like Rustie in that regard - Rustie's got tunes with no real hooks and quite a lot of what I would call "abstraction" while managing to still make them catchy -, I think. So I could see why your friends would not like it... but if you get it it's a really, really huge tuneFreq-Skank wrote:It's such a big track! (All Your Love is my favorite track from the EP though, it might be one of the tracks of the year)

I'm not sure about this one. I've a feeling that if someone other than Hudson Mohawke made it everyone would hate it. It goes down big alright though.

Not true, well in my case anyway, this is the first track I've heard of Hudson Mohawke, and I absolutely love it!frankiegrimes wrote:I'm not sure about this one. I've a feeling that if someone other than Hudson Mohawke made it everyone would hate it. It goes down big alright though.

Dolphin AGM.
This is a mad tune, whole EP is fire though. Octan would be a great set opener.

I hated this at first listen. It seemed abrasively obnoxious and trying too hard to sound like current Hip Hop with the 16 note HH shit. BUT. After a few more tune-ins I get it.

Yea man I'm digging the whole EP tbh but I am worried people will think it's too abstract to play out

Hahahahahah !!! Great descriptionpulkpull wrote:Dolphin AGM.
I've listened to this track so much that every sentence i speak is sung to the tune (including this sentence)
I thought it might be some kind of bat sample, hence the title, but who knows
