Paradigm "melody and chaos"(heavy dark experimental)

Yea state of bass that synth sound had the strongest sub, it was a massive patch I believe, I did little manipulation, just cleaned it up a little. I actually wanted to add indian strings rising and falling during that part. I always thought of that part as a different song too I just have too many ideas.

I like that you at least try to insert some musicianship with all the keyboarding of notes and shit and try to surprise with a bunch of different sections, not all equally successful imo, but that is a taste thing...the mix, especially the bass sounds messy/phasy in parts here though, might be the mp3 compression used?

It could be alot of things, some bass sounds have phase on them intentionally, some people like it as you could see. It was the best I could do at the moment. But yes, I consider myself a musician first and a producer second. Im learning every day about production and about how to produce dubstep (its fucking hard). You gotta get your levels strait eq right, timing right, sounds tweaked right on the bass etc. And then you have to master it and worry about multiband compression, but hopefully not too much because you allready got your sounds strait. Thats what I love about this forum, we are mostlly all producers and we all have an opinion and most of the time its a good point. Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate alot.

ps. And yes I found that the mp3 compression makes it sound glossy or phasey, especially the trebble. Its a subtle thing though. I use Cubase and rewire Reason and then master in Adobe Audition.

Thanks again for all the feedback guys but why in General Discussion I make one comment about bro step and everybody suddenlly hates me and thinkgs all my tunes are shit?
I work hard on my music, as hard as I can. Hours in the program for someone to call it shit? Theres alot of premes on this board apparentlly. My songs might not be the best in your opinion but their not shit! It just pisses me off all the hours that I spend with eq and sounds just for someone to piss on it.

Hell of a tune man, such nice, contrasting sounds. Heavy as fuck, but still melodic, in an almost oriental way at times. Dig it, big ups.

I think Im gonna do a remix of this song keeping the melody and changing all the basses. It started out sounding a little like Datsik and then I changed everything on it, except the melody. Maybee Ill call it Paradigm "Melody and Chaos" (dasikish remix1)

Then I can just keep remixing it haha over and over again
