Anyone got any decent instrument samples...flutes, pianos, strings ..whatever?

Should be most of what you want there. Recorded at different velocities and over the full range too.

These are all in Exs24 format but the double bass is good.

And some multis here - only just found this one, but probably something to your tastes there. Loads of drums too in case you don't quite have enough.
