Oh sweet fucking jebus - that's a sexy piece of kit!!! I demand you record some bass and drums through the tape and post 'em up here.

Don't know what that is in pounds, but sounds like a great deal. Where did you buy it from?

When you make something with it send me a PM, also you can put it in my SC group http://soundcloud.com/groups/casio-tunes (the orignal, and best casio group on SC)

Not as cool as this though

But I still envy you

I look for both of those every once in a while on ebay. I used to have a couple of old Casio keyboards, including an CK-10, the older version of this and of course the obligatory SK-1. They are very fun and can do some cool lofi stuff.
That's a damn good price, it looks like it's in nice shape. I've bid on a couple before in what looked like worse shape that went for much more and one was even cracked and missing a few buttons. Saw a completely broken KX-101 go for near 100 once on ebay. :o

the CK-200 is even more gangster than that!
Haha it's about 20 pound. Got it off an auction site, and that was the "buy now" price. Needless to say I clicked it pretty quick. I was originally looking for some vintage outboard gear like compressors and stuff.
It's not the one in the picture though, hopefully its not too beat up. The old guy said its in working order though so it should be alright. Didn't sound like he knows what it is, he thinks its just some shitty old keyboard.
Man there is some sick old casios.. there's another in the CK series I think with an arp and all sorts of crazy shit.

this is the one here actually:

not a very good photo but it looks in pretty good shape.

will record some tape saturated drum loops and synth hits for you guys when I get it on friday. :W:

one small problem though.. where the hell am I gonna buy some tapes??

I can now record the local dubstep radio show here aswell in my bedroom where I dont have internet! probably the only use I'll actually have for the radio haha

nice looking setup, but your monitors are way too low man. they should be on the same height as your ears.

used to have one of those when i was a kid, apparently i pissed on it when i was bout 3 yrs old.

the best part of it is the little bass section buttons on the left hand side, would love to be able to sample those now.
