I like the beat in this one, comes through nicely, didn't care much for the vocals / bit crushed bass combination. Sounds like only the kickdrum has noticeable sub bass frequencies, listening on headphones though. Not much in this making me want to listen to it again, not that it is a bad tune, just a bit standard, to minimal / few elements for my taste.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess it does sound a bit standard.

Fantastic and unique. I'd recommend having a bit more ping-pong delay on the voice (especially in the beginning) to give it a dreamy and long lasting effect- Otherwise, this is great.

I do have a sub bass in there, typically sub-sonic frequencies aren't carried very well by headphones, just in case you listen to everyone's tracks on headphones and then dish out advice. Again thank you for posting your comments, I will take all of this into account when working on new songs.plugexpert wrote:I like the beat in this one, comes through nicely, didn't care much for the vocals / bit crushed bass combination. OK so just to recap so far:
1. Bring Sub bass up in mix
2. Play around with some ping-pong delay on the vocal to add some depth
Anyone else have any suggestions? I'm actually paying attention to them...

Agree with a bit more delay on the vocal but it doesnt really drop into much if you get me....
The bass that come in a drop needs to be a lot stronger imo.....
Really like the drums maybe the snare has a bit to much highs on it is a bit piercing.....

I agree with the snare, so will also be lowering the snare in the mix (checking EQ if that doesnt clean it up) and turning up Sub + Mid bass?
Thank you very very much for the positive feedback, I will take into account all of these things, in this track and going forward!

I definitelly like the beat. The bass needs to be more prominent. Find another patch or tweak the one you have. The vocals are nice. Your lucky to have a vocal like that.
...wanna collab? Im down for new sounds, send me a PM please.

Thanks alot! will look into tweaking the bass around, I have been testing without the reddux to try and get something decent that isnt super noticeably bit crushed, since it does get over used a bit, jsut gona take a while to get something proper, gona go watch a few more tutorials lol.paradigm001 wrote:I definitelly like the beat.
