@budspencertron - thank you my friend

Nope, not really. lol. You could try, but I don't think it would fit - your bass is taking up the frequencies where you want your snare to hit. Even if you EQ'd it well, the snare wouldn't sit that well. You want it sitting on top of your bass, not amongst it. The reason why guys like kryptic minds use woodblocks and stuff - is because their basses are so low (octave 0/1), it just works. Trying to use a wood block with basses that have a lot of top-end harmonic content is difficult. Give it a go, it's your tune afterall - I just don't think think it will work as you expect. Nothing wrong with using more synthetic samples if they fit, which is really what using samples in a tune is all about.BudSpencertron wrote:@amphibian yeah dont get to glitchy there cause then some people come and say skrillex! haha just kidding; but if you have build the tune around the actual vocal you know your scales and stuff so it makes it more easy to bring them in the tune.
thanks for pointing out some issues on my tune, but i am a fan of more real sounds so you think adding a wood stick or stuff would help avoiding the white noise layering?

Heres a tune that I started one way and never finished. Is it worth finishing those basses? I have the same tune in my sig with a completelly different bass. But I like this idea too! I wanna do both.
