There was another cashpoint just up the road in Stinjan, about a 20 minute walk. I bet you could make it there and back while you left someone in the queue at the site.

To be fair last year the campsite was a lot cleaner and better kept but the sheer amount of people fucked it up.

I must say that I'm surprised by the amount of negative comments about Outlook this year. I didn't go but was it really that much worse than last year?

It was a lot more busy, and I just didn't get the same vibe from it, that sort of intimate and personal feel (even though it's not like last year wasn't 8k or whatever). Everyone I met last year was on a level...this year there were some dickheads who just seemed to be there to get on one.

Don't get me wrong I still had an amazing time...it just wasn't the same as last year.

Beautiful festival all in all. Pretty much everyone I saw perform was on absolute top form! A little bit too crowded if I'm honest this year, but top effort from the Festival for keeping things largely under control. However, next year I recommend actually informing security/stewards at least the basic locations of stages and such, as frankly they didn't have a clue about much. Extra well done's to Jehst & Parky, Kode9 and the whole DMZ/Deep Medi squad who all completely tore it down.

The boat parties were something else too, best vibes of my holiday. Humble apologies to anyone on the Rinse FM or Clashmag boats who didn't enjoy myself and my friends running round in our pants an awful lot. But we were having far too much fun to find our trousers :) Alexander Nut & RSD both dropped some lovely tunes.

Agree...I think anymore than 8000 is too many, the vibe definitely wasn't as good as previous year and the general lack of respect was pretty disgraceful really- Toilets were covered in shitty tags by the end, sea was full of rubbish after people just threw empty cans n bottles in like it was a bin and there were definitely more aggy vibes generally. The festival felt much more like one big money making operation as oppose to an event held for the love of the music...
If it wasn't for the amazing setting, phenomenal sound systems and amazing array of DJs it would have been shite!</rant>

i didnt go last year but loved every minute of this year. there were a LOT more dickheads than i thought there would be but i dont think anything really could have spoiled my festival. big ups to all the organisers and hope that next year can only get better!

My mate who i went with last year summed it up perfectly really "Last year i enjoyed every minute, yet this year i'd say i'd only enjoyed about half of it"

It was a good few days don't get me wrong but just no way near as good as 2010
Its still 2006

all you whining byatches should shut the hell up- if you go to a 4 day festival without enough cash then you can expect to queue up, place got messy- but have you seen the state of festivals like glastonbury after?!- takes 100's to clean up. might have to queue for a shower- but most festivals don't even have showers. and everyone seemed sound to me, can't expect 1000's of people to be exactly like your circle of friends. 'last year was smaller and more my type of people'?!? - wind your neck in!

sunny, camping near a beach in the shade of trees, beach parties/bars/boat parties in the day, relatively cheap and small amount of queuing for drinks, amazing music, amazing location- partying around an abandoned fort......seriously probably the best festival ive ever been to.

it's not like no one had a sick time or has taken the whole festival for granted, it's just if you've gone the previous years then you would've noticed how half-way it was in comparison. everyone's first time is obviously going to be live cos for what it provides in terms of music, location etc. etc. no other festival compares - just way too many hipsters and roudy 'lads'.

good times, wish i could remember more of it, every DJ i saw smashed it. imagine it will be better next year when dubstep is a bit less trendy, 95% of the crowd seemed safe but all it takes is that 5% to dampen the vibes a bit

Spot on... I think there's a place for a a smaller bass music festival, which focuses on lesser known artists, with less big names. Would love to have the time and money to start something like this! Me and a friend had an annual micro-festival at our rented house in the country back in the day, but it fizzled out after we both moved out...Anyone with a bit of time and money should volunteer to start something in croatia, I reckon so many people would be willing to help out...I know I certainly would!

I'd be completely on starting up something for the underground artists, the ones actually representing dubstep and bass music in general. Outlook had some of these artists, fair play to them for doing their research, but i would be at the forefront of making some sort of festival/event which supports this where the bigger labels like DMZ, Swamp, Black Box, Hessle etc etc would headline, as well as the lesser known but equally brilliant labels like Sub Lab, Orientis, Mindstep, Loft Party, Area etc etc. Just dreams I guess.
