HAH wow this is rediculous... that guy is such a cheeseball. The only way to make a real dubstep bass is to spend $1000 on a plugin that eats your CPU.

It is expensive and does take up a lot of hard drive space, but Omnisphere is one the best sounding software synths going IMHO.
Haven't got it myself and can't seeing myself buying it anytime soon, but if I was loaded I'd definitely get myself a copy

Whilst I agree about the lameness of the video I also have to agree with this:

Judging from some of their other promo vids and also many YouTube reviews the synth itself looks really nice, esp the way in which you can use the iPad as a native controller.

It definitely looks like a pretty powerful synth for sure... I think there's 2 different prices for it or something likr there is for kontakt. Thi dude at school was telling me that it cost a thousand dollars and "its the best plugin because you can actually make your own sounds in it." I was like dude I think you can do tht in any synth... oddly enough he reminds me of the guy in the video a little bit

that guy will open for skrillex. lmao... ridiculous but this is the point in the scene where companies like Spectra will jump right into doing stuff like this... developing/marketing right at that market.

I got Omni as a bonus at work. It is the best synth I have. hahaha "you can actually make your OWN patch." no. fucking. way.

I can still use Nexus with it though, right? Or will this synth only work by itself? Help! :6:

From the Omisphere website:
Although this new synth is extremely powerful, Omnisphere is designed with a unique user interface containing progressive layers of ‘zooming’ to accommodate the complete range of users - from musicians who just want to be inspired by the sounds and customize them in an easy way, to expert synthesists and the most advanced sound designers.
Sorry, what? You can be damn sure that if I was going to spend 500 on a synth, I would know the precise function of every single knob, button and slider on the entire synth. Why would a beginner user EVER need to use this?

from what i've heard it probably takes up so much cpu you can only use it by itself. :m:

can someone please introduce this guy to any seventeen year old with a pirated copy of massive who can make his "anger" bass sound like shirley temple. this is less a dubstep genre plugin promo and more some industry douche trying to make a wobble bass with a $500 "power synth" and failing.
