I haven`t used Reason in years but can`t you just use the NNXT and load the sample?
As far as I know it allows you to use any sample, I don`t believe it`s dependent on sample length or anything.

in reason a couple years ago i remember loading a whole tune as .wav to the NNXT and i think it cut off after about 2 minutes.
havn't tried it since.
now i just will cut individual parts up using audacity, then wack them in as samples in the nnxt

yeah theres a limit to the file size of sample i think or maybe time not sure which, best to chop it up

that`s still very easy to do though.
Chop it into manageable sections and trigger them in time.

or wait 15 more days till reason 6 comes out and you'll be able to load audio tracks right in
