Pledge now for EP of unreleased LoDubs.

Here's a LoDown of the tracks:
As promised, today brings the first of two exclusive EP's, which will be sent out only to backers of this campaign! We will start sending the first one out today via the message system here in Kickstarter, so follow the link there to check it out!

Volume one features:

6BLOCC - Slew Dem (Instrumental)

This track has been one of 6Blocc's secret weapons for a while now, having only been heard in the past in one of his live sets, or on the "6Blocc Vs. R.A.W. - Live at Various" mix tape. This is about the most enveloping Sub Bass in existence. 6Blocc slyly keeps the production and percussion to a minimum, as one that sub hits, it literally sucks all the other sounds out of the track, and one's ears. It almost feels more like an atmospheric disturbance than a track at full boost.

Jaybird - War Tone

As a lead up to his "What The Funk!?" 12", Jaybird has provided us with an additional track here. Although largely known for his house classic remixes, jaybird is an expert in the art of classic Dubstep minimalism. "War Tone" is a clear case in point.

Pocz & Pacheko - Coraje

The two masters from Venezuela collaborated on a pile of tracks together, and this is among the best. Pocz & Pacheko really balance each other out, with Pocz bringing his trademark sound that can best be described as Psychedelic bass music, and Pacheko with a real mastery of the drums and syncopation.

Word has it that around the time of these productions the two of them where kidnapped, blindfolded, and left alone in the middle of the street on the far side of Caracas, with all their possessions, including a car, and the computer a lot of these sessions where produced with taken from them. It's hard to get that story out of my mind when I listen to this beautiful track filled with cascading rhythms.

Swarms - Polar (Featuring C Strike Z)

Originally part of a sampler which is what we assembled the album Old Rave End from, C Strike Z is a Bristol MC known for being a regular at one offs all over the region, and for his mix tape work. While "Polar" in its original form is far more fitting in the album context, this version, with it's slightly off kilter but ultimately catchy vocal cadence is still a winner, and stands on it's own, or as part of this EP quite nicely.

Clubroot - Eastern Promise

Clubroot first let the world hear this track for a moment as a post on Dubstepforum, and from there it was penciled in as a track to be featured on the oddly popular, poorly named comp "This Is Dubstep Vol. 3" which ultimately ended up containing the track "Comedown" instead.

This is just too good of a song to let get lost, so I included it here to round out the EP, and to remind everyone of what amazing, yet hidden sounds will be unveiled, should we be successful with this campaign!

------------------------->

The next EP will contain an exclusive Clubroot track, a remix Collab from Chrissy Murderbot and 6Blocc, another from Pocz and Pacheko, and other surprises!

Thank you for your support, and if you have yet to back this campaign, please do so, and rest assured, all backers will receive these exclusive EP's, so don't think you missed the boat, unless the campaign ends before you get to it (nudge,nudge...)
I know Clubroot gave away Eastern Promise on his soundcloud for a little while, but nice for anyone who missed it.

Yeah, I already had it (was it a 320 though?), but not disappointed at all, the other tracks are sick, and it gets me listening to Eastern Promise again. Probably my fave Clubroot track.

Get on this people! I pledged the $55 (about £30 odd) and I get 2 colour vinyls of Swarms & Clubroot albums. That isn't even anymore than what you would pay for a standard vinyl album anyway! Missing out on a big opportunity if this doesn't happen!

Exclusive EP#2 has been announced, and it contains unheard business from Swarms, HxdB, Clubroot, Chrissy Murderbot, 6Blocc, Pocz and Pacheko.

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/145 ... osts/98128

We've reached the goal! now I encourage anyone who wants the kickstarter version of these releases to get on board before its too late, as the next 4 days are the only chance forever. Beyond it being colored vinyl, another bonus is hinted to in this update...

My white Swarms vinyl arrived yesterday. My word, the 5-track mini LP at the end of the CD is quality. Loving the bonus that Jon AD talked about in the Kickstarter updates too. Bigup LoDubs.

Can't wait for the Clubroot LP, saw this on facebook:
Yeah. Album #3 is underway. Tracks have been selected and are in progress.
He also did a mix for the new Solace Records podcast, don't need to explain that!

Got mine this morning after missing it yesterday. Completely forgot it was in colour, so big surprise for me :h: I backed at $55 level for 1 copy of each, got a CD with mine though. Haven't checked it out yet, I'm at work, but this just gets better.

Can't wait to check out the exclusive tracks on the Swarms CD, and of course, can't wait for CLUBROOT!

Yeah I haven't checked that Johnny Bueno CD yet either. Never heard of him. Here's his Soundcloud bio:
Portland, Oregon producer Johnny Bueno wants to take you on a journey. Calling on an array of analog synthesizers, drum machines and a deep record collection, he weaves together a sonic collage that creatively updates the classic sounds of DJ Krush, DJ Shadow and Mo’ Wax Records.

Starting off with just an ASR-X sampler and a deep record collection nearly 10 years ago, Johnny Bueno aka Justin Grubb began making music. His love of cinema, nature and theology, combined with broad musical influences, has resulted in style that balances emotive melodic elements with tough drum breaks and thick analog synth lines.Viewing the studio as an instrument, rather than just a place to make music, Johnny deftly manipulates every aspect of his compositions.

Raised in Portland, Johnny moved around the US after high school seeking out new sounds and sources of inspiration. Those journeys, combined with a constantly expanding studio arsenal, are the foundation for his music. The Heart’s Blood, his debut album, flows through many different motifs that showcase his fluid production techniques. While this may just be his debut release, plan on seeing the name Johnny Bueno around for years to come.

Picked mine up from the shop the other day and Claude Von stroke was there for an in store meet and greet. Free keg to boot. The bonus track is pretty sick just on it's own.

It looks as if someone at Anthem Records put the Discogs release info together, E1 is called I Gave You Everything. There's nothing to say it is by anyone other than Swarms.
