I've currently got my speakers sat on a couple of empty cigarette boxes to angle them up

Re: the classic "take a photo of your setup" thread
This thread is inspiring and the majority of which put my setup to shame, but I wanted to get involved so here we go.

Akai MPD 24
Novation SL25
Macbook
Sennheiser HD25
Left Side

Right Side

KRK Rokit 6 (up close)
Dynaudio Acounstic BM15s (at back)

2x 1210
Some Vestax Mixer
Serato SL3
Cuntbag Eurorack MX1604A
AKG C1000S
Samson Servo 550
Bare Ikea furniture
The Nest at the back of the room

Where I'm sat playing games most of the time on this:

with a lot of these (only one shelf in here):

Benefit of living where I do and having a lappy, 10 minutes on the bike and then this becomes my studio:

Nah it's pretty old, had it about 10 years now. Bought a Spirit Notepad 124, mainly for live gigs though, so it's not setup.nowaysj wrote:EXTENSIVE DOCUMENTATION!

Hardware:
Dsi Mopho (Receives MIDI Clips from Ableton and can be played live)
Dsi MEK (Sent to Audio IN for Looping and Manipulation in Ableton)
Nord Lead 2x (Receives MIDI Clips from Ableton on 3 channels)
Focusrite Scarlettt 8i6
Controllers:
Launchpad
Arturia Laboratory (hardly use the software)
DAW: Ableton Suite 8.2.5
I only Produce in Headphones right now. As I use Ableton as part of a live show with a drummer I test out my mix on a PA for final tweaks and I am constantly controlling the levels of each track.
Here is a link to a full live set featuring this setup and a drummer.

yo man, how is harmor?
And you got all those synths but no monitors? What gives?

Re: the classic "take a photo of your setup" thread
Like I said in the post I produce in headphones and when I want to monitor it on a system I have a PA. I've been a live performer for over a decade, but only gotten real serious about Production this year. So I guess My Monitors Are Yamaha 15s Pushed by 500W per side.
Here is the behind view.

I'm still fooling with the Harmor Demo, but I think it will be able to handle a lot of duties for me.
My Hardware + Zebra + Harmor will be all I need methinks. No need for NI anything.

Got to man. I have an IT day job, I'm a gamer and a producer. That amount of time sat in front of a computer screen ain't healthy!Pedro Sánchez wrote:Hittin' the bars in the studio I see.

the lab - macbook pro, dell monitor, mobox, vrm box, glyph hd, thrift store keyboard and mouse, maschine, m-audio venom, and hella guitar pedals, novation sl ( will be rid of soon hopefully in exchange for a presonus faderport):

the turntable (numark ttx), my hats, creepy toys, and trashy spring reverb unit

records:

No monitors, I'm not in a place where I can make too much noise. Can't wait to move out so I can get some monitors, sound deadening, and an extra desk so I can have a setup that makes sense ergonomically.

Swear to god my most creative ideas always come either on a laptop or on some external sequencing synth or sampler. Not the best sounding ideas, but the most creative.

I got them for like 25 pounds each

I DIY'ed mine...
- metal grill bins x 2 = £15 (needed something strong enough to hold my 10" woofered beasts)
- 1" thick heavy-duty carpet-rug pad = free (was used to pad an order from eBay)
- a few plants to disguise/camo the bins = £10
total= £25
