Tune ID: Possible Remix of "Veronica - Someone to Hold" ?

Post by dublinstep » Wed Sep 21, 2011 7:13 am

Hows it going,

Was listening to the Perempay & Cure show on Monday night on Rinse, you can download it now on the podcasts
http://podcast.dgen.net/rinsefm/podcast ... 190911.mp3

Around the 51 minutes mark on that podcast, they're playing a really deep house track, with a throbbing melody, lots of hi hat ride... and some vocal snippets in there.
I've managed to identify the original vocal taken from a song called "Someone to hold" by an R+B singer called Veronica, but a search for any remixes with this only brings up some awful tacky shit, nothing as classy as this track that was on the Perempay show.

Anyone got any idea?
The vocal hook goes "When I'm alone, I keep thinking of you babe, and the way you make me feel, all this love I have... Trying to explain..."

I'll edit the MP3 later on and youtube it so people can listen to it, that might help.

I'd love to get this record for my own collection. Any info appreciated!

OK so here is the track I was talking about. Kismet also played it on his show last Friday. Any info would be great.
