Massive ,ascending bass, envelope reset
Hey,
I'm trying to make an ascending bass.
I got an envelope filter on the pitch with a high attack. So it already ascends, the only problem is: I want the envelope to continue the attack where it's left of.
So if I release my midi key and press it again it has to start of at the same point, not from the start again.
I've tried "trg zero reset" without luck, it's gotta be something else, or is it not possible and do I have to find a workaround ?
thanks in advance

If you want help at recreating a sound then go to this thread and ask for help there.
Also the easiest way to do this would probably be to just resample the note you want to play in its full length and then cut it up.

Set it to monophonic legato. That will make all envelopes remain in their current position when changing notes, as long as you hold the first note slightly over the second note's onset.
If you want the filter envelope to retrigger, but for the pitch to continue its ascent uninterrupted, the best bet would be monophonic retrigger, but abandon the pitch envelope and opt for portamento/glide, or alternatively, pitch wheel automation with a high enough range of pitchbending for your taste.
im not sure i understand what you want to do. but good luck

Or failing that, just bounce it down to audio and then split it where you want it to pause
