Send out the complaint within 5 minutes of trying it.
I can still perve at girls pictures easily enough so I'm not that fussed about it.

So many good nights coming up in Belfast but none of my mates are interested in going, can't actually think of anyone I know who would go to any of the nights. Where I live is full of narrow minded people who only listen to radio one and aren't interested in any other music :u:

Police to investigate boys' fighting event in Preston

Such a nonsense story, basically the BBC are going 'children cage fighting, it's disgusting' even though actually what the kids where doing was effectively No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-JItsu (otherwise known as the gentle art) it involves no striking what so ever and is probably one of the safest arts a kid could learn

then some medical professional went on to say how kids could learn other sports and then mentioned Judo, now BJJ is derived from Kano Judo and Judo is arguably much rougher than BJJ anyway

basically the only reason i can think of for the uproar is the fact that the bout took place in a cage, had the kids been wearing Gis and fighting on open mats then it wouldnt have been an issue

Honestly, what they were doing is far less violent even than a game of rugby... i practice brazilian jiu-jitsu myself and can assure you it isnt known as the gentle art for nothing

they`re learning discipline and a martial art
this has nothing to do with random cage fighting
no more than standing next to a fence and spanking your monkey, which can be more violent

exactly, it wasn't even an MMA fight, it was just jiu-jitsu but in a cage rather than on a mat... hell, me and my 8 year old sister 'play' jiu-jitsu all the time but i'm not a monster who beats up on kids lol

Yeah, this pissed me off a bit too. Plenty of people (at least used to) do boxing in primary school... I can't see why punching each other in the head is less dangerous than this. Boys fight... they fucking LOVE it... keeping it in controlled conditions and teaching them some respect/skill alongside it really isn't a bad thing in the slightest.

Oh plenty of kids learn boxing or karate at that age and that's considered to be fine... how is this any worse? if anything i'd argue the opposite and that this is much safer

my little sister who i play jiu-jitsu with does judo and that's far rougher than what those kids where doing... also whoever the journalist for that report was needs to do more fucking research before sharing their ill-informed opinions on a public service broadcaster
