I'm sitting down at my kit right now about to hook up to iMovie and start trying something's. Don't kill me for saying this but I'm tempted to try recording an interesting cover of kill everybody, I know that everyone hates the artist here but i can't get this shuffle groove out o my head that NEEDS to be in that tune. Is Skrillex to dubstep like Travis Barker is to drumming? A bit over hyped and commanding of a large group of fan boys? Wish I know why people hate him, maybe it's because I've only heard 2 of his songs. I think I'm going to do a burial cover first and foremost. Thanks guys

OP, being that you're a DSF member in manhattan, were you at DUB WAR this monday? You truly should be looking to further your exposure to actual dubstep, imho. Best of luck.
I would say this is abit of a challenge but if you could play this
So after practicing today I've decided this is what I'm going to do first because it's fast, off beat and challenging. It's gonna take me a few days to get it clean tho because today it was sloppy. After this I wanna do burial.

Yeah, excellent choice. Lots of Silkie's tunes are great for great for drumming along to actually: Wonder is a great tune to play along with to get ideas for triple paradiddle grooves as well. The stabby synths match the right-hand rhythm nicely.
if you managed to do a decent cover of this id be very impressed... wookie all day every day!
