I know they've already had a couple of mentions, but thought I'd weigh in with this:

Pure dread, and the snare hits hard.
Heard this one the other day. What a tune! Sounds like something km would come up with.
Dread tune
Here's the vid they put up on youtube.

Hey so i wanted to return to this old thread, very old thread and revive it because during the process of my latest mix "welcome to horrorstep" i came back to this thread to see what the community's thoughts were on some these tunes out there and i took a few suggestions people had made. I want to present this thead with a link to a very very dark dubstep mix I just finished last night. I really hope you guys can dig this mother fucker right here. Feedback appreciated. Thanks dubheads

this is my fav dark(and all time) fav dubstep song. you all should know
by far the darkest dubstep tune there is to this day. nothing compares to this song except for
"space cadet" by cyrus

I am now fully convinced that there is no dubstep tune darker than this:

Was listening to it on a bright sunny day with the windows open and I still had to turn it off half way through cos it was getting too uncomfortable. Those violins... *shiver*
Great mix by the way

dark dubstep is pretty much the embodiment of deep dubstep , arnt many deep dubstep tunes that have a benevolent vibe to them
xept for this distance tune appropriately named delight

I don't think that's true, there's a lot of Phaeleh, Mala and Kromestar tunes which are deep but not necessarily dark

they may border on deep but they have the element of simpleness to them that i think removes the deepness all together

Are you serious? Phaeleh is more 'simple' than dark deep tunes? How do you figure that?
And dude, listen to Kromestar's new album and tell me there aren't a lot of deep tracks that aren't particularly dark. Definitely not simple either.
