Wow, such a wicked night. Was great to see so many people there for the music and put faces to names. Solid sets from all the DJ's with a really nice mixture of sounds and the best atmosphere I've felt at a night for a while. The sound was nice, but the light from the back of the room was pretty blinding when in the booth, if I play again might need to sort that or bring some shades. Definatley the kind of venue we've needed up here for a long time, was great seeing the owner skanking about the place all night.

here is a little shot of Pangaea mid-set.

Big up burlish! Really enjoyed my set, quality vibes, met some sound people, like ben says, was nice to put names to faces! Everyone smashed it music was on point! Defo could do with sorting out the light at the back of the room, couldn't see shit from out the booth and got blinded if you faced the back wall. Sorry I couldn't stay till the very end, was really enjoying be-1ne's set as well. Saw a lot of potential last night, think this night could go places, brums been screaming out for this for ages!

Just going to echo the comments made about how Birmingham has needed a night like this for a while. Pangaea's set was sublime. Recorded this. My apologies for the swearing towards the end, I went a bit frenzied.

I dunno how tight they were on ID, but I didn't see anyone getting checked, don't think there would've been any trouble.
