Wow, thanks all you Guys! I'm really thankful for the people on this forum because I'm learning about the music I wanna play. SILKIE COMMENTED ON MY VIDEO!! Haha on his Facebook page he said it was good! Thanks again or making me realize that playing legit dubstep tunes is the way to go.
wobbles wrote:quite impressive! now I know how skilled you are on the drums. If you can just cover this one now?
I think I might do this today actually, the rhythm is talking to me a bit. Can you tell me the artist and track? ( sorry my iPad refuses to let me click through to the website, iPads don't use flash that's why I think)

Don't get me wrong, fatty drummer is a sick tune, but it's not really pushing the envelope for drummers. I would say cover any reso track (man is a drummer too you know) or if you really wanna push the boat out lets see you do the drums for this...

God da** they keep getting faster and faster! Haha I'll give it a try tonight when I sit down at the kit. Any suggestions from burial? I dont know what tunes of his are best optimized for drums.

I Could do it it fast but my double strokes are faster. Hope that didint soud cocky sry. I saw this video where tek 1 had a live drummer at his how it was cool, thinking about doing oe of his tunes? Do producers respect his stuff? I personally like some of it, even if it's brostep there's a few I like anyways. I need tunes that are on the forefront of dubstep and also that are by artists who are some what accessible if you know what i mean. I really wanna team up with one for good ya know! It's starting to work. That silkie song was a brilliant suggestion because silkie saw it and gave me props and I told him hey dude hit meup if ur in the states because I wanna play a gig with you, and he said he just left the states a month ago :/ but still there's a very distant relation there now and if I continue getting recognition he just might hit me up!

You guys are the best on this forum! If it wasn't for all of you I'd still be in my room recording lady gaga dubstep remixes hoping to catch Break haha. Im really happy with how this is progressing.

Burial Near Dark?

Thanks for feeding my ego bro!lol but yea, I like this burial tune and I'm going to do it I think but I'm 95% sure I'm gonna do the Synkro tune right above this post first and really think about the burial tune bit. The Synkro tune has those gated lowvpass sweeps down to silence and they are really making me feel this song! Silence is rare and very powerful on a drum set!
That burial tune u posted is just flat out beautiful to listen 2. The drums are very quite and blended perfectly. I not want to play a bunch of fills and a loud ass beat over it to make myself look good to the non drummer because it not do the song justice. I want to do this song, but do it the way it was meant to sound. It will be repetitive and quite and also very difficult to play the way it should be played. It just won't sound very hard which I'm fine with honestly, so I have to think about that one.
