Good bassy studio speakers.
Any ideas for some bassy studio speakers under 300$
Re: Good bassy studio speakers.
If you're talking monitors you don't want bassy speakers you want accurate flat response speakers.

Just buy a subwoofer if you want bass. Monitors are suppOsed to be flat and uncolored.

I've got the KRK Rokit 8's, not bad for budget monitors. I did add a 10in sub to fill out the bottom end though.
These guys are right though, if your using speakers with added low end response you'll think your mix sounds perfect, then when you play that same mix on a system without that added low end your mix will sound thin.

the KRK's are pretty heavy on the low end but not so much that you cannot work with themDrastikMeazures wrote:I've got the KRK Rokit 8's, not bad for budget monitors. I did add a 10in sub to fill out the bottom end though.
