Hey, would really appreciate some help with the stabs coming around 02:30 and throughout the song.
Thanks!
Also any tips on other Fitzgerald-y pads/synths would be appreciated
Sounds like it could be achieved by using maelstroms's Waveform number 20 (in MOD A) and the sweeping square grain in one of the oscillators...KONVEX wrote:IS anyone able to help me make the "womp" sort of noises from this tune?

maybe fatten it with a sine underneath... drag the sweeping square index all the way to the right, turn motion to zero and mess with MOD A's index oscillations to achieve the mellowish womp and then lightly add some digital distortion
any advice on creating this in massive or operator?MoonUnit wrote:Sounds like it could be achieved by using maelstroms's Waveform number 20 (in MOD A) and the sweeping square grain in one of the oscillators...KONVEX wrote:IS anyone able to help me make the "womp" sort of noises from this tune?

Overdrive the sine wave, low pass so you only have a few low harmonics, add saturation and light compression.axolotl-dubstep wrote:Hey,
I've made sub bass's before using sine waves, but they are never come out as planned. I'm looking to create the dark, deep, brooding style sub bass that artist's such as TRUTH. It can't just be a pure sine wave with a low pitch,
Any help would be so awesome

Hey guys, I'm still struggling to recreate a similar bass to his. Obviously, I don't want to copy, but being able to recreate a similar bass would help me out a lot. Please PM me if you're able to help out at all.Neurosylum wrote:Hey guys, I've been trying to figure out for a while now how to make a bass like the one used in Cyberoptics' track "Plasma Cutter" at 1:22. I know he uses Massive, I've just been trying to recreate a similar fast moving bass and I figured I would turn to you guys for some help. He uses the same style of bass in Wormhole and Outlaw as well.
This is the track I am speaking of:
