The first release on the label, Blow Up and Spellbound, comes from the Antwerp duo SCIENCE.
With releases on Untitled, Stainage and Subway, SCIENCE are no newcomers. Tunes like Power Of Fear, Heal My Hurts and Motion Tween were picked up and rinsed out by major players in the dubstep scene.
Blow Up and Spellbound contain all the ingredients that makes a SCIENCE tune so recognizable: a crisp production, power, attention to melody and a small dose of melancholy that gives the tunes some more “realness”.

BLOW UP is one of those tunes that grabs you directly by the scruff, with a lot of roughness. With its distorted, industrial synthline built upon a hypnotic bassline, this tune takes you to the climax of the track, the second drop! Here you will almost experience the songtitle physically… Our advice…? Play it loud!

In SPELLBOUND everything revolves around the alliance between the synthline and the flute melody, a kind of unbreakable bond that seems fueled by the stabs and the dark bassline . The use of the flute melody makes Spellbound dark and ominous. This tune would certainly fit in the soundtrack of Hitchcock’s movie that goes by the same title!
