Using Massive as a VST in FL studio
Hey guys, I'm trying to get massive to work in FL studio. Has anyone successfully done this?
So far I've gotten it loaded up in its own step sequencer pattern, but I can't get the sounds that I create in massive to apply to the piano roll or the song.
Sorry if this is too specific of a question, but I don't know where else to look!
Thanks boys

When installing Massive it should give you the option to install VST, DXi and RTAS. The stand-alone will be automatically installed - and only tick VST - you wont need the others for now.
Once installed (and cracked for pirates) open FL studio - insert new instrument - click more - refresh - new VST's marked in red - tick box next to Massive. Insert again and select Massive from your list. Massive should now be in your step sequencer and ready to roll!
Hope that helps??

i had this problem until literally a couple minutes ago. at first i had it kinda like twitch said but it was givin me errors, so i started over again this time i ticked all the boxes just for the hell of it and installed to all the default folders and when i started up fl studio and refreshed the instruments the dxi showed up as NI Massive. i tried that one and now everything magically works
hope this helps!

By the OP name and thread title I fully expected a troll thread...
I must say I'm quite disappointed.
Sounds like he's got the plugin loaded but can't get sounds out of it? Initialise the patch if you can't get noise out of it at all. If it just won't respond to midi notes then... uh I dunno, get a better crack if that's what you're up to. If not give NI a ring ding.

Re: Using Massive as a VST in FL studio
it's no matter that it is legal or cracked
you must just switch off the "extern sync" button in the first tab "synth", and click on tab "global"
now close that.

I can't even find massive for some reason, I have fl studio 8.
To find it I've been right clicking a sequencer like snare then clicking insert/replace > more... > ? it's not under VST plugins for some reason

You have to put Massive.dll in c:\\program files\image line\fl studio\plugins\vst

Re: Using Massive as a VST in FL studio
Anybody know how to get this done for the mac beta? been trying for a while, watched a couple of videos, and it keeps telling me that it cannot connect to the VirtualCD driver.
