hmm.. that's good advice for some. sometimes i wish i had invested my time in learning to paint/draw, i think it's a very cool skill. alas, i cannot -- every time i take an implement and try to make something that looks good, i fail
been havin LOTS of writer's block lately -- i've been doing lots of calculus to cope. that too is something beautiful that is on paper, but requires only intellectual drive, not artistic drive, so it comes in handy when i have no stories to tell in my music..

That's a good idea! Unfortunately for me, I have the drawing skills of a new born baby.

I draw, but not well enough no make anything worthwhile. So I make collages. Super fun, and no artistic skill needed.

I'm a latent painter, and I might have been a writer if I didn't become a musician.

Now I paint with sound, but I might try the canvas again.

I believe there is some artistic skill in that. In fact, there is someone on this forum who is a very good collagist but I can't remember who it is atm.

tell me about it man. I have no life right now. they weren't kidding when they said "accelerated curriculum..." it sucks when you finally have time to produce and you just don't feel like it cause you're burnt from school.

I always think of ideas and tap out frantic shuffled beats in school, but then when I get home I forget it or have to do homework...
