as far as the gop yeah he is the least shit, and i only say that because he is an isolationist and under him we prob wouldn't go into anymore major wars. not that isolationism is a good thing, its just more you can say about obama who is bombing the fuck out of civilians with drones. libertarianism and the way it applies objectivism is completely shit though. the idea of a laissez faire government with the types of people we have running big corporations right now is completely fucking insane.

Ron Paul isn't an isolationist. There's a difference between non-interventionism and isolationism. Ron Paul is a non-interventionist. Ron Paul believes in trading and commerce with other countries, being friends with other nations, and only going to war when constitutionally declared. What's "isolationist" about that?

The types of people we have running big corporations right now? How about the types of people we have running GOVERNMENT right now? the same government who gives hundreds of billions of dollars to corporations and banks, and hundreds of billions of dollars to foreign countries. Do big corporations go to war? do big corporations write the "Patriot" Act? Do big corporations arrest you for non-violent crimes? nope. The Government does. The governments are the ones who ALLOW to be told what to do by corrupt lobbyists. Ron Paul is the only one corporations and lobbyists don't turn to.
