Haha, I thought it was intentional dissonance. But then, I was still feeling pretty blissful after last night... my brain just heard almost unparalleled beauty for 12 minutes. Stunning.

Having a nice lazy Sunday after drinking a bit too much yesterday. Lay in bed late listening to some oldies, and from then on I've been watching films all day with my younger brothers. I've watched George of the Jungle, Toy story and now Back to the Future, so I've experienced a nice bit of nostalgia watching them. And I plan on watching There will be Blood tonight :D

Two friends came over and asked me to hang out. We drove around and listened to Burial and Kryptic Minds. Then we hit the local pub and had a couple of drinks. As we were about to leave we smelt something funny in my friends car... turns out that the windshield washer fluid bottle had broken and spilt all the fluid in the trunk :D

And what did the text say?

Was driving somewhere with a couple of friends the other day, playing some Kromestar, and when the sub kicked in on "Weak" the guy in the back starts laughing his ass off and tells me that right as we passed and the sub came in, some big balloon float or something (there was some fair earlier that day) collapsed. Just a coincidence of course, but still made me

Just got back from NoHo. The drive on the 5 was a breeze (for the most part). Amon Tobin ISAM live was fucking crazy! Wished I smoked but didn't hear from a designated driver friend until I was already in Hollywood where I spent the night cos it was closer to Pomona. I only had sips of Pimm's vodka that my wonderful friend prepared in a flask for me to take. The amount of alcohol she brings back home when she travels is the same as the amount of music (or books) I take home. Too fucking much! I remember taking home 30-35 books, although 20 of them were collections of comic strips and amazing illustrations by a cartoonist on Filipino pop culture, parodies, and politics. Talk about being a nerd. Anyway, Truth in San Diego this weekend! :corndance:
