Halloween Supatronix: NAPT, Warrior One, Slyde (free mixes)

Post by revealdj » Mon Oct 17, 2011 4:51 pm

Supatronix is back for our first party of the autumn, and it's one of our legendary Halloween allnighters. the first one we've held in two years. Gird your loins for an evening of ghosts, ghouls, goblins and devillishly evil basslines to a musical soundtrack so terrifying that grown men have been known to weep in abject horror.

First up we have breakbeat legends NAPT, who have recently taken their musical leanings into eclectic bass music territory with the launch of new label Red Sugar. Check out the latest mix from the London duo below - yup, the download link's still working for the ipod heads out there.

Next up we have the return of future jungle don Warrior One, who's been tearing up dancefloors across Blighty and beyond with his fearsome bass music flavours. Expect plenty of dancehall bangers and oodles of amen-fuelled next level breakbeat because Carl has agreed to perform another exclusive 140 jungle set for Supatronix. Anyone who witnessed the bodies flying round the room at our February event will know this is going to be the boom-ting. Check out a recent mix below and fast-forward to about half way through for a taste of the jungle styles.

Amazingly, we're not yet done with the headliners. Slyde have been flying the flag for booty-shaking, funky breakbeat since the early days of the mighty Finger Lickin' records, and they're still putting out obscenely big tunes on a monthly basis via new label Slybeats. Have you heard Move Ya Body? It's the kind of track that will have bottoms shaking so hard that you might just need to make a little extra room on the dancefloor. We're delighted to have them back.

Supporting in room one will be regulars Jurassik, Reveal and Boon, along with guest Final Conflict. Jurassik has just dropped the latest in the Ruffneck series of future jungle podcasts, which you can download below.

Meanwhile in room two we head into full-on bass music territory, with Shakes, Toes (Datsdem) & Dan Garrod, Sai, Skyline and The Evil Hypnotist (warming things up with some funky flavours).

It's all happening on Friday, 28th October at Jamm in Brixton. Click below for £8 earlybird tickets. £10 on the door before midnight on the night.
