i was also wondering this but didnt wanna start a whole thread for it. any tutorials out of somebody making a dubstep song from scratch using complicated bass methods like resampling and frequency splitting?

not videos that end in...and thats how you open the piano roll in logic..

Transferable to ableton also? I gotta check out boy in a band does he show how to make complicated basses also?

if you use his tutorials as a reference, he shows you almost everything actually nnny.
I wouldn`t use the tuts but for a beginner it is good info.

Ascian is running some very nice tutorial on youtube. He is basicly building a dubstep tune from scratch, and posts new video's very frequently.It's in Ableton, but the info is pretty much all usable in other DAW's (I myself use FL). If you do not know much about frequenties, harmonic content, EQ'ing, compressing etc, then I suggest giving it a watch. Good stuff. At least for me it has been usefull so far =).
