Nope not sent out yet, says it has some surface scratches but plays ok. thought i might as well take the risk to own a part of music history.

yeh mate i probably would have done the same.. still "some surface scratches but plays ok" coming from dnr is probably more like scratches but doesn't skip... anyway let me know how it sounds, I rather it didn't for your sake but that's a good price if it is in good nic

Crackles are sick, especially at the start before the music starts. I just got Seven & Youngsta-Masia Mara from dnr, £3.

Lets you know you're in for a treat, something that's been battered for years and is still worth playing.

My Xylophobia crackles loads before it starts and i got it when it came out, so not long a go. Still sounds perfect though.

so would people not recommend buying tunes from dnr? just found a few bargains but im a bit worried that they're gonna be fucked when they get here. am i being stupid or are they likely to be in shitty condition?

depends on the records id say, ive ordered a couple of times before and found if the release is old (90s-early 00s) u can expect it to be a bit fucked (worn/dirty sleeves, minor warping, few crackles) everything is playable though, and they do some great deals, better than discogs.
