Biggest Dubstep mixes of all time

Post by time nice » Fri Oct 21, 2011 2:41 am

Just was sitting here thinking about the biggest Dubstep mixes of all time. A friend was asking who people thought was the "Andy C" of dubstep got me thinking about this topic. Some the most outstanding mixes to me are:

Kode9 Sonar 2007 Mix
Skream Essential Mix 2007
Loefa on Mary Anne Hobbs Dubstep Warz 2006

I know there are so many more, I'm feeling nostalgic. What do you guys think?

Obviously Caspa & Rusko's Fabriclive 37 comes to mind straight away, but in addition to that, some of my favorites include DJ Klaim & Majestic Brockout Volume 1 ( http://soundcloud.com/djklaim/brockout- ... y-majestic ), Gemmy's Electronic Explorations mix ( http://electronicexplorations.org/the-show/100-gemmy/ ), & Starkey's Don't Stay In mix of the week ( http://www.dontstayin.com/article-14293 ).

I'd say that those cover some pretty good ground and showcase the type of variation the genre is known for.

Every Dubstep Allstars, best ones are pretty much down to taste. Seriously can't pick a definitive best, but Vol. 2's a contender

YES. Gotta be one of my favourite transitions of all time. So much energy in that whole mix, it somehow gets better if you're doing something like working or lifting weights while you listen

Without a doubt the mix which made me fall all the way in love with dubstep... Sadly not downloadable anymore.
