Shit thats way too much overkill on the EFX to get those sounds when you could achieve the same in Ni Massive.
people are obsessed with FM8 now that Skrillex mentioned he uses it.

for example here's something i'm messing with that have only about 3 plugins max on each sound so far.

that wasn't meant to spam or anything it was the handiest way of throwing up a sample of a sound i think is fairly closer to the "growl" than half the bother mentioned already.

ANYWAYS thanks fisher for a good fm8 vid, they are rare on youtube compared to the amount of massive videos, try experimenting with triangles as modulators, or even operators, to get a nice vocal sound pre fx.

I thought I was really faded but it turns out there actually are like 17 versions of this thread on page 1.
