massive massive G... done the best halfstep ever, and now has pretty much carved one of the best labels/ new sounds around.
Too many big tunes to mention!
I met him a few times, one time he was ridiculously friendly and introduced himself as pete, the other time equally friendly but seemed a bit battered haha
big up loefah

i think loe should be a lot less critical of disco recka and some of his other old stuff. art becomes bigger than it's creator, he should stop thinking about how he feels about it and focus on the hugely important role those tracks played/still play in the dubstep/bass scene.

yeah i mean, i think its one of my faves of his so when he says he thinks it is shit im like, WUT! :o. but i can kinda see where he is coming from, he made the tune, thinking he had to make a tune that would smash the dance, rather than making what he wanted. so from the off he was restricted with what he could do as he thought he needed to make a big tune, rather than make what he wants and let people see it how they want to.

Cheers for this!!! always had a sneaking suspicion that his heart wasn't fully into that album as much as the first three. just didn't feel like Lupe.

i'm not saying he shouldn't critique himself at all, i'm just saying his tracks have made a hugely important impact on the whole scene regardless of how he feels about them, so he should just stop worrying about it and conclude that they are clearly great tracks (cos they are!).

Fair play to Loefah and everyone who's connecting so much with the sound, its just not my thing at all.

You definitely need to hear it live. got to a swamp81 night or catch boddika/oneman/ben ufo/loefah/pearson sound.
I didnt rate tunes like sicko cell 'til i heard them live tbh. Swims is fucking nuts also on a big system!

i've seen loefah play his swamp stuff 5+ and i still don't 'get it'...ahh well, its just not for me, glad he's connecting with it tho because he comes off like a 'true artist's and really lives for the music he supports/makes...btw what does EPM stand for?

and i haven't heard a dub from him in a long while tho...i really wish he would've fleshed out the asbo/it's yours sound he was doing too
