Re: Ahadadream - QBOG (Garage/bass)
Like the heartbeat style beat of the kick at the start, plus the atmospherics you have coming in build a nice feeling. Not too keen on the cymbal sample, sitting a bit too high in the mix and breaks the vibe a bit.
Vocal sample is nice, but a bit overused - it gets repetitive after a couple of plays. The rising and falling tone is a bit piercing, and when it kicks in with the extra percussion and that cymbal again, the tune becomes very high end very quickly.
The bass is driving and driving, not too imposing just enough to give it some undercurrent. The high end synths are really distracting though, like it's a bit too whiny and shrill.
Was hoping for a bit of a switch up on the beat programming after the drop, but it's just pretty much the same. You could try messing with the programming a bit to give it some variety. Wasn't too keen on the outro either, doesn't really hold the interest as it's like you've just flipped the tune from how it started.
Overall, this shows a lot of promise. Try EQing some of the high end off the tune to make it less piercing, and a programming variation after the drop to maintain interest.

just to make sure u do mean the cymbal and not the hat in the drop right? Also, what do u mean by change the beat programming?
