gold mine here, thanks for this! watching through a bunch of these now.

flying lotus one was great as well. if i were that dude who was talking about binaural beats i would have absolutely shit myself when flylo finished answering his question by saying "i wanna hear some shit." seems like a really cool dude.

I was a bit surprised when he said Dilla was orange and that he's only met 3 orange people in his life, the mans obviously never seen all the girls that go to your average hard house rave.

Just a quick warning to anyone about to watch the Skream one........

Its very very awkward. Especially when he gets asked how he makes hi sbass sounds and about mastering.....

Also the Goldie one is boring.

The Plastician one is iffy as well.

Its still a good watch but it must of been hard telling people about a scene what was so under developed.

Is that because he holds back on the info or because he can't explain it properly?

When they ask him about how he makes bass his whole answer is:

"You can make bass from anything, bass is just a tone" :| Errr, great. Thanks.

When they ask him about mastering he says:

"I dont know anything about that Im just the software boy"

They whole thing is just awkward and slightly embarassing. He come across as someone with 0% knowledge (which obviously isnt the case) I dont know if he is just uncomfortable talking to a room full of strangers or if he was just wary of giving away too many of his techniques.

Dunno, it was just disappointing. Especially when you compare it to the Mala one for instance where he comes across as comfortable, engaging and knowledgeable.

man, i usually enjoy watching interviews with producers, but i got really annoyed by the FlyLo one. not sure why, but it just felt really awkward watching it. the whole conversation and the way they talk is so extremely slow, and the atmosphere in that room seems just... i don't know, fake.

really surprised me, thought i'd enjoy watching this video.

watching the skream interview next was actually quite relaxing.

Ive actually had that one buffered for like 2 days now - yet to sit down and watch it.

I love the way his speaking voice is exactly the same as his rapping voice; so sick sounding!

Many successful self taught music producers have worked how the knobs change the sound and how to use the kit without actually understanding how/why it works. I've heard people say stuff of computer music videos which is just completely wrong, it doesn't really matter so long as they keep making good music.

To be fair I'd probably answer the mastering question in a similar way.
