Subject: things that have made you happy today

this pisses me off - always.

and i don't even care when they mosh at some zomboy-gig. i won't be tehre anyway. but when people like this start going to good nights where good music is getting plaid - i do not want this kind of people in there, thinking they can act like fucked up animals.

and to be honest - i respect any kind of dubstep/bass music as long as there is at least a tiny bit of inspiration or depth to it. take coki as example - i don't rate much all his tunes. but brostep? no man. this i call experimental music or whatever.

anyway. dumb discussion.
its not a discussion mate, it was me complainin at the attitude from yourself to people who've come in a thread to say that they're excited about going to see some artists and you deciding its a good time to BRING UP the 'dumb discussion' by insulting their tastes and putting a downer on their evening out, that they have every right to go and enjoy

im sure you're a lovely dude irl man, but you gotta chill on the snidey remarks like that, i know its annoying to you, but you aint there, you aint gona be there, you aint gona find yourself at those nights cos as we probably all know by now, thats not your scene, so why the need for the snidey comments??

thats it said my piece, aint gona row in the happy thread no mo'
you are actually right.

you know.. the thing is, that there have been so so so nice nights recently, (mala&vivek or youngsta&alley cat) and the night has been just not as good as it could be (for everyone - even for the djs!) because some people don't have a blink of respect and start moshing or shouting around...

it's just so wrong and seeing that this is happening to a music and a culture where i spend a lot of energy in it (with nights, my productions, my djing or my general support for it).

that's the reason why i sometimes react in a rather ugly way. i hope i don't come over like a massive arrogant cock. because i'm not!

Ahem, maybe. I can't believe I hadn't tapped it for girls yet... went down feeling VERY chatty on Saturday afternoon... after a couple of hours sorting recycling, I came back with 3 numbers.

Second date lined up.

Should've sealed the deal tonight, tbh.

i throw my own parties since 7 years buddy
Well I'm glad to hear it, as I do too.

I know you think its wrong/sad to see the culture evolving the way it is, and I understand that. I miss the old days too. However, as a promoter/DJ I'm glad to finally see all the work we've put in come into fruitition. I mean, it wasn't too long ago that we were flying Plastician and Sukh Knight halfway around the world to play in a venue that could only hold 120 people (or before my time, I heard Hatcha came and played at a Community Center). Now we're bringing in top artists and playing in 1500 person venues and have a residency that fits 700. I know you're not a prick (and tbh I used to think the exact same way), but the the more tolerant you begin to be, the more tolerant the other kids will be. I'm not saying you have to like it, but you just need to accept that people don't like what you like, and vise versa. We have a whole room in our residency devoted to dub/reggae and bassweight dubstep, and the kids love it as a place to go and chill out and get to know one another off the dancefloor. They may not want to devote their time to looking into it, but they still respect it.

If I come to Dorking, can I have my picture taken with your cock whilst you polish it?

And afterwards we can go see that roundabout.

so everyone turned round to see what i was laughing at in the office , was kinda awkward to say "someone wants a picture of me and my cock"
and follow it with an explanation without laughing

You can almost see the street I was born on in that picture. This has indeed made me happy, today.
