Back to the original question, I would say they are more than likely to play Skrillex & 'kill you,' lol.avoidpi wrote:Is it worth seeing Skream & Benga live nowadays? I was thinking I should just go because it's probably the closest thing to Dubstep I'm going to get in Canada (brostep infested man, it's crazy up here). I just don't want to hear Skrillex being dropped, it's going to kill me if I see Skream do that to me. :/
YOU will probably be disappointed based on what YOU have said, i have seen them 2/3 times this year and they have mainly played a 'festival' style set regardless of the venue/night.
Tune selections i remember being Skirllex, Circus Records, Killing in the Name of, DJ Fresh, Dismantle, more electronic sounding skream tunes, benga tunes, magnetic man etc... So an all round mashup of the 'harder' electronic music styles.
So without getting into a massive argument about people saying whats shit and whats good, and the right to give an honest opinion to the question -
those are the facts based on the 2/3 times i have seen them in 2011, take it as you wish.
Personally, Im going to save my money next time and support them by buying Fatty Drummer & the new Skreamizm when they're out & continue to play they're music. I would say thats enough to show my thanks & support for what they have done/are doing
