pulled in 10 bucks today out of nowhere, wooooo!

anyone notice how comeatmebro's blogs only get like 5-10 comments a post now? no more mega blog for him

i've never seen comeatmebro have more than 7 comments, since he posts so frequently and most people only comment the most recent post (i know i sure do, i like to spread my comment lovins around)

you guys should try the auto posting feature, i love it. you get into a groove and write 4-5 posts, set them to post at 6 hr intervals, and then fuhgettaboutit ... more time to comment and find new readers.

also, who else is on the twitterfeeds? since i've started that, I'm consistently getting 10 bucks a day. maybe its coincidental, but its still not a half bad idea (and much better than using google reader)

Yeah i'm all over the twitterness.... recently I got featured on a blog hop... I got like 45 new followers and 50 bucks in one day

anyway, to auto post you click on "post options" or whatever under the text entry part, then under posting options you can set it to delay

whenever i update my blog, it just pushes a link through to twitter; just makes it easier to get passed along, and its better than looking at the reader imo.

i guess you could go through adding a lot of people though

It's also another set of backlinks so if you promo your twitter page and get the page rank up it would have some benefit for the blog. Also would get your posts indexed faster.

the average twitter backlink value is negligible, and indexing is almost instantaneous for me, for the most part

Yeah you'd have to build your twitter page rank as I said. Still, a backlink's a backlink. Twitter has domain authority and once you get into the hundreds I could see it having a minor effect.

I gotta get to commenting. Hopefully that will make up for my lack of ongoing fresh content.

If you stay on it you make money. But after the novelty wears off and you start to get hard up for post ideas you start to fall off. I'd recommend going with a general theme that you can write a lot about. The problem is you need to maintain the commenting in order to get any ad clicks. As soon as you stop commenting, the traffic dies off.

It's fun as a hobby but you wont make much money without posting regularly and commenting a LOT.

i'm getting close to $600 / month, and I have a blast writing posts (and I'm starting to get exclusive stuff from labels before it comes out), so its more than worth it imo.

oh yeah, all the time, it's amazing how generous they are with their press kits. My favorite moment so far was getting to hear/review Martyn's Ghost People before it came out.

Shilo, Dave, Brian... met so many quality PR reps so far.

Got a lot of views today, like, over double the usual amount, and the referring sites are all t.co's (I decoded them, and the sites come across as a bit shady). Few examples are:
- 777seo.com
- college.nitecruzr.net
- justforlaughsgags.tv
- googlecorrection.com

Anybody experienced anything similar?
