OP here,

After 5 minutes of intense research, I am now certain that Burial is Zomby is Kromestar.

like most people around these parts I have nothing but admiration for burial (altho like some I do take what I read in interviews with a pinch of salt, but that's just me being cynical I suppose...). I love the way that his sound is so drowned in atmosphere, yet it remains so minimal. sonically it reminds me of stuff like basic channel and deepchord. use of field recordings (or everyday samples from non-musical sources) go a long way to achieving that sort of atmosphere.

idk if you guys are talking about the wire interview, but that's the on i read. whether or not he's "trolling", i found the whole thing inspirational and motivating. especially the part about intros and main parts of songs and how an intro will forever be an intro --a song like that will never hypnotize the listener.
