nah just that they might be right considering they even know how long the trailer is!
Re: GTA V
Los Santos was the shit, I actually grew attached to the place when I played SA. I really hope this is trueMehlovich wrote:read some rumors today. from 4chan.... well.
Apperently the game is taking place in San Andreas. Or at least it includes the same citites as SA did. They are making it bigger though. Which is dope!
And you're going to play as a hispanic dude from another gang (that featured in GTA: SA as well) which I can't remember the name of.
also according to them the trailer is going to be 1.04 minutes long.

yeah, the country side was cool and the cities was different from each other. which wasn't the case in IV.
Re: GTA V
A return to San Andreas would make my downstairs regions distinctly turgid... but especially if they let me have the BMX back. I dunno what it was about shooting up Bball courts and then pedalling away, but I want more of it in my virtual life.

Re: GTA V
Hispanic dude makes sense too.. would be a cool role to play. I hope they have the same amount of customisation as in SA, if not more. I want to choose if my character is hench or skinny or fat haha
Re: GTA V
Oh, and I forgot to add that according to these rumors we're getting co-op play in offline mode (hope it includes everything in the game and not just going to your girlfriends house and take her for a ride....) and also up to 32 players online on ps3 and xbox and up to 64 online on PC. the PC version should be released on the same date as ps3 and xbox btw.
other then that the game should focus on money and power... suprise.

Re: GTA V
They could do some really cool shit with *ahem* "the current economic climate" and allowing you to run businesses (garages, night clubs, collecting rent from lodgers
). As long as the game uses the same engine as IV but polishes the graphics up a little, I'm sure it'll be another stellar game from Rockstar

I would really love if they made all the houses and offices etc. in the cities open so that you could walk into them.
Think about it - you could enter some random peoples house and rob and kill them! + maybe shoot up an entire office.
or ram some shit house with a bus. if the buildings was able to get destroyed like in Battlefield 3 it would make the game so much better!
Actually they should combine GTA V, Battlefield 3 and Skate 3 and you would have the perfect game
Re: GTA V
I don't get the fascination with being able to go into EVERY building in the game. All it's gona do is add more memory which will be more loading and less other stuff. Why would you ever want to go into every building. It doesn't make sense to me.

as I see it, it limits the sandbox thing a whole lot that every front of every building is just a huge wall. I want to go everywhere in an open world. Not being limited to the streets. And to me loading times isn't a problem at all - as long as it only loads when driving over a bridge like in Vice City. (maybe in SA as well? can't remember)
If the game brings up a loading screen every time I would enter a building then no - of course that wouldn't be cool.
Re: GTA V
I would be very very very surprised if this happened. They have already said they were reluctant to release San Andreas and GTA 4 on PC at all. It has usually taken them over a year to release PC versions after console too. I was expecting them to go console only tbh.Mehlovich wrote: the PC version should be released on the same date as ps3 and xbox btw.
I hope it's true though.
Re: GTA V
So do I - though I am not really sure if GTA is the same without the controller...wormcode wrote:I would be very very very surprised if this happened. btw. they said that Rockstar Leeds will be in charge of the PC conversion.
Re: GTA V
Surely there's enough people on the streets to kill. Every building is so pointless in my opinion. What would be the point of being able to go into every single generic looking house. Maybe if they had some more upmarket houses and mansions to explore I could see past it. I don't think 100% of buildings is very realistic. I'd be happy with something like 20%Mehlovich wrote:To kill people?demonzEEK wrote:I don't get the fascination with being able to go into EVERY building in the game. I'm the type gamer if I can go in something I have to. Which actually causes stress because I can never get anything done--moving in random patterns like an ant through the game, I need my options limited.Lichee wrote:i love going in buildingsdemonzEEK wrote:Surely there's enough people on the streets to kill. So please don't let us go in every single building because I'll think they've hidden something, and I'll be obsessed with finding it all.

Re: GTA V
Select buildings is fine. They could of done more on IV with say being able to go into the 'Empire State' like lobby and get a lift from inside. That could of been cool. Also in the area with the mansions should be able to get into a few. They add to the multiplayer if nothing else! The ammount of time i spent online on IV having mass shoot ups in that penthouse building (you do a mission and your able to access it) and the Natural History Museum. (again you do a mission i think)Lichee wrote:i love going in buildingsdemonzEEK wrote:Surely there's enough people on the streets to kill. Every building is so pointless in my opinion. Re: GTA V
Haha you guys should try playing a GTA game as a pacifist character. It's actually really fun and challenging. I found some hippie skin mod for the player in San Andreas and played the whole game without killing people. Well, as much as I could play as I tried to avoid the missions that require killing or theft. Rockstar has said before in response to accusations of promoting violence that "you don't have to harm innocents in the game" or something along those lines, so I wanted to test that out.demonzEEK wrote:Surely there's enough people on the streets to kill.Mehlovich wrote: To kill people?
