Click/popping noise after notes

currently using massive, plucky bass sound i have created but I keep hearing this popping/clicking noise after the note hits.

have read about this before but was unable to locate any previous threads. anyone have any idea on this? think it might be something my envelopes?

pretty basic sound, a few pulse waves detuned with an LFO and a amp envelope modulating the lowpass filter.

let me know what details you guys need to figure this out.

post a screen shot of your massive routing.

and make sure its a legal copy of massive before you start asking for helps lol.

If the click is after you stop playing the note, then just add a tiny bit of release to your master volume envelope. Should be Envelope 4.

haha thanks brah. it is but i figured it out. adjusted the release on the volume envelope, got rid of that pluck/clicking sound. thanks anyway!

same can apply to side-chain compression. Never have your attack/release too fast

bringing this up from a while ago but do the downloaded version click?i no i shouldnt of but i downloaded it like many people do and it clicks when i add wobble to the sound (clicking in 5lfo the sync then ratio) seems to have something to do with the amp part! probly wont get any help then again if it wasnt so much money i wood actually buy it, thanks to anyone who does help though

You aint gonna get any help round here if you openly admit to pirating software. Yeh ok people do it but if this community portrays a tolerance to illegal activities within the industry it gives this place a very bad name and reputation. So keep it clean m'kay, be ambiguous if anything but brazenly stating you've pirated massive is just dumb.

If its too expensive, which is a perfectly viable thing, just don't get such an expensive synth, there are PLENTY of extremely capable VST and VSTi's out there that are either free of charge or extremely well priced.

This issue of CM has its month give away as Z3ta+, as originally sold for $99, that's an utter powerhouse of a VSTi being given away, for free. Do a bit of research and look about and you'll find all kinds of deals like this. getting a cracked copy of Massive because its 'the thing to do' is just lazy.

I would really implore you to get that copy of CM magazine, which is only £6.50, grab Z3ta+ and learn synthesis on it. You can make dubstep wobbles on that, not to mention pads, leads, hits, atmospherics and any other timbre you could think of, just as you can with any modern synth. You should also check out Zebralette, which is an AMAZING synth considering its been made freeware (after being a commercial release for a while). Companies do that sometimes, they'll make a synth freeware to promote a newer synth they're bringing out. Keep in the loop, keep it honest, these are the people that are building the stuff you are using and they need money to keep on doing it.

You might not come across your typical "HAu 2 sOund Liek SkrILLEeXz" youtube tutorial for Zeta and if that stops you as you're the kinda person that would follow massive tutorials on youtube to try and make dubstep without putting in actual study, then you're probably not supposed to contribute to the music anyway.

On the other hand, if what I've linked you too has interested you and you're about to go grab CM and get stuck into some synthesis then you should also check out this amazing resource of information, written by an expert in the field over a period of 5 years. If you get those synths, and go through all that archive and apply it all, you'll be making sick shit eventually. And more importantly in an honest way I get why people go and get dodgy software, but its down to lazyness really, there's seriously more than enough stuff out there to do this shit for free, there's actually no need to break the law and damage the capital of the industry.
